I do feel like I have to apologize every time for not posting anything for a while...I'm sorry! I am not a blogger nor a writer so this is a new challenge for me to even have this thing. But I do think it is a great way to share what is going on in the store as well as in fashion.
Spring will come- it could still be a month away, but it will come. I went to the Dallas market last weekend, one of my very favorite markets. Not to mention that while I was there it was 72 and sunny. There are so many fun spring trends coming our way this year!!!! Here is what I saw (and bought!!):
1.) Lace - it is everywhere. Dresses, tops, skirts, jackets, you name it, there is lace. I'm not usually one for a lot of this girly fabric but they have combined it with edgier fabrics and added cool colors..I have to say, I loved everything that I saw.
2.) Colors of nude and blush. Again, I am not a super girly girl dresser and pink is not something I wear really at all. But I am telling you, these new spring colors are gorgeous. Soft neutral colors that look good on everyone.
3.) SHORTS!! High waisted and not super short anymore with fun colors - coral, teal, and white.
4.) Wide leg pants - 70s style pants - high waisted with wide leg bottoms. I bought them in white and they are SO cute! Plus, baggy, harlem style capris, cargos and khakis. They fit wide at the hip and get narrow towards the bottoms- these are not going to be for everyone but I would definitely try it out.
5.) Shear and stringy. Tons of shear fabrics! And I don't even know how to describe all the tops I saw except for saying that they are stringy and ragged. Don't worry- we will have tons of camis, leggings and tanks to wear under all of this :)
6.) Coral, orange and red colors. We have seen coral a lot in the past and it is back once again.
7.) Great maxi dresses with cool prints. I am obsessed with 2 of the maxi dresses we bought. They are back and better than ever! I love the maxi dress because it can be worn casually with flip flops or dressed up with heels. Are you pregnant- embrace the maxi dress- they look lovely with a bump!
8.) Bohemian style tops and dresses. So many great boho styles and the great thing about these tops is that they hide parts of the body that we want to hide a lot of the time...mid section and arms.
