"Monday Must Have" this week! 5.23.11

Our "Monday Must Have" this week is a knit bohemian vest. I chose this piece because of all the different things you can pair it with. Plus, it's easy to throw on, it provides coverage over something that may be too tight and clingy and it can instantly change the look of any outfit.




In the pictures above, I have it paired with a plain white tank and jeans. I added a long fringe necklace and bracelet (pictured below) to dress it up a bit more. You could wear flip flops to wedges to heels depending on where you are going.




Next, I left the jeans on and paired it with a tie dyed olive colored tank. Just the tank alone is a very casual look but adding the vest makes it a bit more pulled together. I added a Scarlet Garnet necklace that has a beautiful red stone for a touch of color.





I love this paired with shorts! Especially when the shorts have a belt or detail at the top of them where you want to tuck your shirt in for it to show. I hate my mid section (I know I say this over and over again but its true...and I also hear it in the store almost everyday when someone is trying on something) so I hate to tuck something in. But I also love these new shorts we have in. So I wore the white tank and put the vest over it so I could tuck it in to the shorts and hide my sides and back. Super cute summer outfit. I am wearing the medium size in the shorts (I am usually a size 6 in things).







A quick comment on these wrap bracelets...we've had these bracelets in store now for about a month or so. They are made by women in Thailand and a portion of the profits go back to them. I LOVE these bracelets. They scream summer and add color to any outfit. Add them to tops, T shirts and dresses.

The last pairing that I put together is with a dress we've had in store for a couple weeks. We do only have 2 mediums left in this dress. If you like a lot of sparkle and glitz then all you will need is the dress. However, if you aren't into all of that glitz but like a little bit (especially since the dress is so cute), pair it with this vest to give it a different vibe and look.
